The Charles Town Utility Board (CTUB) is evaluating a Public Utility Service Agreement with Sidewinder Enterprises, LLC for the construction and transfer of ownership and operation/maintenance of a raw water transmission main, future water treatment plant and finished water line, and the ability to extend water service in the future to up to 200 connections in Middleway. The agreement includes provisions of the infrastructure to be constructed by Sidewinder Enterprises, LLC and transferred to CTUB upon completion. To view the draft agreement, click the link below.
The CTUB Board of Directors has extended a public comment period from its last Board meeting on January 8, 2025 through 4:00 p.m. on February 5, 2025. The Board will NOT meet on January 22, 2025 as previously scheduled. On February 5, 2025 the Board will consider the agreement with Sidewinder Enterprises, LLC together with the public comments received at the January 8, 2025 meeting and during the period following that meeting until February 5, 2025.
